About Me

I was born in March 14, 1986 in Barranquilla, Colombia. I moved to the United States in the year 2000. At age 16 I started college, when I rediscovered an interest in photography (the interest actually started earlier), and also met my husband. I got married at 18, and God has blessed us with a beautiful daughter who will turn 6 this year. In 2009 I received a degree as a Visual Journalist from University of Miami, which was another great blessing in my life. I believe that experiences shape our lives and I guess that is why one of my favorite things to do is tell stories about these experiences, whether it is with photography, video, audio, design or a couple of written words.

About this site

This website showcases photography and video projects I have completed and some I am pursuing. You can also check out my Tumblr blog, Ordinary Lives, where I post some other photography, web design work and words; as well as my Wedding Photoblog, where I post my most recent and favorite wedding photos (a website just for weddings will be completed soon). Most of my experience is in photography; however, I also like to do video from time to time. You can see some samples of my video work on this site, or by checking out my Vimeo account.

In addition to being a photographer and videographer, I am also a web designer. My web design company, Nu Interactivo, is under construction. In the meantime, you can contact me for my web design portfolio and services.
